Mirrors and Windows:
Discussion about Children’s Literature for Latino and Bilingual Children

Join us to engage with culturally and linguistically relevant children’s books in order to consider the power of story for both your children and yourself. Whether you are studying to become a teacher, working on an Education Master’s degree - or are parents of young children - you are likely to encounter diverse and bilingual children, either in schools where you teach or in your community.

Serving as both a mirror and window – all children benefit from engaging with diverse children's literature.

Sessions facilitated by: Education Librarian Alison Lehner-Quam and Early Childhood Education Professor Cecilia Espinosa
